Jozzy just gave fans their biggest Rihanna album clue in years. The hitmaking songwriter was spotted hanging out with Rihanna at Jay-Z’s show at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Friday night, and in a casual clip from the night, Jozzy said it plainly: “Imma do Rihanna album.”

No date. No title. No rollout. Just four words from someone with the résumé to back them up.
Jozzy, born Jocelyn Donald, co-wrote the Billy Ray Cyrus remix of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” which held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for a record 19 weeks and earned a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year. She also has writing credits on Beyoncé’s “Virgo’s Groove,” SZA’s “Low,” Internet Money’s “Lemonade,” and 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s “Mr. Right Now.
Rihanna has not confirmed anything, and neither has her team. But fans have been waiting on a new Rihanna album since Anti dropped in 2016, and a songwriter with Jozzy’s track record saying she is on the project is the closest thing to real news the Navy has gotten in a long time.
The LA sighting comes a few months after Rihanna surprised the crowd at Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium show in July, where she performed one of her solo hits and joined him for “Run This Town.”
