Wesley co-founded Brother’s Bond Bourbon with his former The Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder. While the two bonded on screen as brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore, their friendship carried over into real life, eventually inspiring them to build their own whiskey brand together.
During an intimate evening at Neighbors Cafe & Wine Bar, Wesley shared the story behind the bourbon. He explained how the pair went from sipping bourbon together on television to developing their very own brand.
The result is Brother’s Bond, a four-grain straight bourbon whiskey brand that brings together the duo’s appreciation for the craft and the experience of sharing a good drink.
Now, that story has a new chapter with a special batch made exclusively for 1 Hotels. The limited, hotel-exclusive offering gives fans and bourbon enthusiasts another way to experience the brand, with a bottle that connects Wesley and Somerhalder’s whiskey venture to the hospitality group’s newest Austin property.
