Fif reposted the C SPAN clip to Instagram with a selfie of Nicki looking unbothered in the corner of the frame. “Man I got feeling we [expletive], you know what’s going on because I don’t know what’s going on!” he wrote. “LOL go ahead laugh so you don’t cry.” Being 50, he also made sure to tag his Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi accounts in the caption.

The comment came while Trump was revisiting a story he has been telling on the campaign trail about Ohio Sen. Jon Husted, a former college football player whose physique Trump has been talking about at recent rallies. “I said I looked at his [expletive] and I’ve never done that with a man before, it’s true,” Trump told the crowd. “Off the record, women, yes, men, no, OK?”

Then he turned his attention to Nicki, who was in the audience. “By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful [expletive] before, Nicki Minaj. That’s hard to miss,” Trump said. “Stand up, that’s hard to miss.”

Nicki stood and waved to the crowd. Trump followed up with, “I hope Nicki wasn’t insulted, but we love Nicki. She’s been with us for a long time,” and went right back to his Husted story.

The Trump Nicki Minaj alliance was on full display all day. Nicki flew to Michigan with Trump aboard Air Force One, landing at Selfridge Air National Guard Base ahead of the rally for Mike Rogers, the Republican running for U.S. Senate in Michigan. Before the rally, White House communications director Steven Cheung posted a video of himself interviewing Nicki for the White House press secretary job on Air Force One, captioning it, “Ladies and gentlemen, I think we may have found the new White House Press Secretary!” Nicki reshared it with an American flag.

Later in the rally, Trump brought her on stage, where she told the crowd, “I am so honored to be working with this president,” and urged Michigan voters to back Republican candidates in the midterms.

This is not the first time Nicki and 50 have crossed paths in the political conversation. Late last year, Nicki posted a photo of 50 on X with the caption “Trumps > Chumps.” Now 50 is the one posting her, and from the sound of his caption, he is laughing to keep from crying.
